Information Technology is a very popular now a days. In Information Technology, we can develop abilities like effective communication and problem solving. This is the course or career I want to go through. I’ve chosen this career not only because it is popular but because I really like technology.
The factors I considered in choosing the path I will take are, compensation I’ll get after taking that course, the popularity of that course, the advantage of that course in easily having a job, and I also considered what I like, that is technology. The skills I have now also contributed in coming up with my decision about choosing Information Technology, the examples of my skills are, I’m computer literate and I already fixed some software issues in desktop computers, laptops, and also in cell phones. Information Technology isn’t just the course I have in my mind, I’m also thinking about taking Civil Engineering, and Culinary. I’m thinking about taking Civil Engineering because I want to have a title in my name, and also I’m thinking that I am good in math therefore I can take this course. I want to take Culinary because I am good in cooking, and I want to know more strategies in cooking. Even though I am choosing between three courses, Information Technology still stands out, because this is where I’m really compatible.
In choosing career, we must not consider what others want us to be; we must consider what we want for ourselves, because we are the ones who hold our lives. Like me, I chose Information Technology because I want it, and I think this is the path where I can succeed.
