In John 1 it says:
4. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
The light shines in the darkness. Jesus came to shine in this world that is full of darkness. After that, He left us one mandate, to do the same.
In Mathew it says:
Ups! Now it seems that depends on us aswell. We work in the same team with God. Yay God :)
But the darkness cannot overcome the light, it says in verse 5. So should we be afraid to go and shine in this dark world?
No, no. We should Burn with passion for our beloved King, so that the world will see Him through our lives.
How do you shine in this dark world?
Through love.
And how do you love?
Mat. 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Do to others what you would have them do to you. This is how you love, this is how you shine.
This is the model Jesus left us, He came and shined and then He gave His life for us so that we can have our sins forgiven and everlasting life. So if you want your sins forgiven and want everlasting life say this prayer with me: Jesus I am a sinner and I accept you in my life to be my Lord. Please cleanse me from all my sins and make me a child of God. Amen.
