I'm not someone who upvote posts frenetically and i give an importance to each of my comments and upvotes.

But there is still something that i don't understand on the Steemit platform :

How the value of an upvote is calculated exactly ?

I've an average of 99% to 100% vote power and i've seen my upvote value fluctuating from $0.50 to $0.01 these past few days. I've read some articles and the white paper but i still have no clue.
