Life is fair if you think so and not fair if you think so. Everyone dances as he/she hears the rhythm played. Self-pity is a worst enemy of humanity. If you don't always look back, thanks and praise yourself then you're the enemy of yourself.
In life, its the falls and rises that makes it enjoyable. So once you are too perfect then you living above this life we live on earth. Over seriousness could cause another danger because nothing will ever be interesting to you except what your mind wants is achieved. And once it get achieved you have more desires lined up. "Human wants are insatiable".
So, dear friend, don't take this life too serious. You are not the one in charge, God is.
