Dummy13 storm trooper from makerworld
https://makerworld.com/models/945841Printed on bambulabs a1 printer

I made a profile with a custom removable helmet
Also i made a pair of those pixel sunglasses altho it is true to form i wanna find one with more comfortable arms

But isnt it cool how it 3d prints it like that? Its like 30 grams of filament or like 40 cents with filament $10-20 a kg but inget mine free from my makerworld upload points..i get a 40 dollar gift card once every two weeks id say and that buys 2 rolls of filament and i oay like 3 to 5 in extra taxes basicaly for 2 kg of filament every few weeks.. if the bambulabs order below 85 for free shipping)
Makerworld is owned by bambu
Oh i also made this "nasa fabric bracelet and apple watch band" i did the bracelet version testing it but roo.small but there are much larger sizes on that print. Its also on makerworld but just search for nasa fabric bracelet youll see better ones
Too stiff tho so i wont recomend it but this fabric i printed is amazing

It feels actually soft somehow and u can link them up or print a much larger 250cm x 250 cm version
Its really quite interesting as a cape for the dummy13 figurines. But i am gonna make some grogu chainmail type stuff with it.
But yeah its always fun to print from makerworld app they make it so easy
See you can watch your $200 or $300 now the sale is over, banbu printer print wirelessly, pausing if theres an issue even if youre overseas.

See uou can select something and just literally click print. With my $150 now $300 ams lite i can choose 4 different filaments i can load. Its so nice and i did oay the current full prices and missed the sale but i did get ny a1 mini for 200 on sale with gift cards and banbu sent me a $180 gift card because there was an issue with a cable on the a1 that cinnects heatbed and it was bending and breaking so i was abke to PRINT a little round cylinder with hold that snaps around the thick black cable and secures it straight so it doesnt bend and problem solved. Whats funny is they sent me a conpletely new heatbed i can replace if i ever want to (i should as the early ones arent going as high ss they should snd temps always have to be set higher than normak bit ill wait till it breaks down to reolace the free spare part they sent me )
But yeah basicaly they offered to fully replace the printer and get a smaller i think 80 dollar gift card
Or i could keep my printer and theyd ship me the reolacenent heat bed (which is like a good hour of work to replace for a scared noob i guess but only 10 mins if u know what ur doing but again not even necisaryto begin with) and get a 180 dollar gift card. Lol anyone who didnt reoly immediately kept getting lower offers like 120 and 80 as they ran out of free money to give out for a problem that we honestly all solved with a 3 cent black plastic tube we could print ourselves from the machine. Better than an over the air software update. Its an over the air wireless hardware print and upgrade
I chose that 3rd option to take their pption of a gift card and not a completely new machine they could have sold for full price which in sure they prefered as well
And i got another printer basicaly free cu a1 mini was on sale for 220 then 200 and then 180 even i think i got the 200 deal maybe 220 but i just remember i used the gift card and onky ended up paying like 20 bucks or sonething for an a1 mini
I also ended uo buying an extra 5 dollar fan with sensor on aliexpress that cools the print head down when it has abnormal temps and has lil tiny temp sensor and plugs into my printers extra 4 pin fonnecyor that the ams lite 4 spool holder with motors is plugged into.
I also got a led strip but cant install it and the fan at same time with a 4 p8n molex splitter or a 4 pin molex to usb cable to plug in seperate.
Anyone know if u can just make a molex 4 pin to usb A wall charger? Lol
They really make it easy to switch between the printers etc.
Should we make a custom hive action figure out of dummy13? Its meant to be for remixing !
Lol i need to download all my
@dbuzz images and reupload them to hive images
I would even pay 20 bucks for a service like that but its gotta be free for eveeyone who have used dbuzz lol. But i need to ask if theres any ipfs image hosting services where i can even run my own server and host stuff from home by pinning it on ipfs? Ive never done that, havent really used torrents or ftp in like a decade either lol
but its time we all start actually getting into mesh networks like meshtastic, and buying those ai mini pc servers like the $200 to $1000 Jetson with nvidia ai chips ...i just wanna start collecting stuff like that and getting more hive users to buy and run these babies. Not as witness nodes but just as ipfs nodes to help pin and host images and videos because we can always use more of that right?
We should get paid hive/hbd for running home media servers in places where people hsve access to free or cheap internet bandwidth.... maybe paid via third party hive dapps and eventyally a front end hosting witness system in hive somehow in the future maybe? I just like the idea of not depending on big data centers at all
And woth meshtastic and starlink we could even have text based posting and comments transacted over hive via a meshtastic LORA network thats physically installed in every city where we pay HIVE tokens to people who set up wifi snd lora nodes for anyone to send hive posts if they own a maybe hive branded meshtastic device with lora which i can build like $20 before tarrifs lol
Seriously i wanna combine 3d printing and hive and mesh networks to create our own hive internet... something like helium but for LORA and just to send hive messages under 120 characters like old twitter . Shortened Links to images can even be possible. Ai could even generate images via promps which are the onky thing that can fit over meshtastic and a type of global shortwave packet radio i want to experiment with
I am going to buy a shortwave radio and try to send digital shortwave signaks like a hive transaction eliptic curve signature hash in digital text form over shortwave radio across the planet so we can actually have a $200 radio that can send digital messages around the world, to a relay station that sends that transacyion like a hive post to hive blockchain then if there are any replies to that post.
They are sent back in shortwave to the sender and thiw can allow someone to send money with just a radio If We have shortwave radio transcievers aroune the world to bounce signals off the atmosphere
Maybe ill just stick to hive meshtastic first tho
