We all will be judged according to our works and not according to what others have worked for us. This simply means that even if you follow a particular Bible or do what some people say, the last question you will ever be asked is, “why did you do it?” and not blame the person or the source or reasons of the actions you have been portraying.
In the Bible, Ezekiel 14:20 says; Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
So, this implies that a perfect father or perfect mother cannot save his or her own son. The son or daughter has to be good herself. The fact that your father is good doesn’t mean that you will be judged based on the actions of your father. You will be judged based on your own actions.
In the Bible, Ezekiel 18:20 says; The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
So, there is no anount of prayer that can save the dead. It is whatever the dead does during his lifetime that he or she will be judged for. I won’t say that praying for the dead is a waste but let’s not forget that the dead had performed so many actions during his lifetime.
So, you are responsible for your actions. Even though you love Jesus Christ so much, if you do not portray the right behavior and even if you do so, you will surely be judged for it.
Let’s just do good if we know that we want to be part of those who will make it to heaven.
