We humans commit sin a lot. And so many times, we commit sin everyday without us knowing about it. It’s not that we wish to commit the sin but many times, we do it unknowingly but God forgives us.
There are two types of sin. They are grievous or unpardonable sin.
When it comes to committing of sin, the forgiveness of sins depends on the kind of sin that you are committing. It is left to you to ask yourself if you are committing the grievous sin or the unpardonable one. So, which of these two sins are you committing?
In the Bible, I John 5:16 says; If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
So, there is something called sin unto death. This doesn’t mean that when you sin, you will die immediately. It simply means that when you commit such sin, you will never be forgiven and you will die with such sin and go get your judgement in heaven.
But we are very lucky. That’s because God forgives us almost all the time when we sin against Him. And when it comes to forgiving people, we should never count it because it is unlimited.
Matthew 18:21-22 says; Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
So there is no limit to how many times you should forgive someone or how many times they should forgive you.
When you pardon and forgive people, God will also forgive you.
