Siempre es grato escribir sobre buenas noticias y hoy en la mañana decidí realizar algo que desde hace tiempo había pensado pero no terminaba de llevar a cabo. A continuación les cuento mi experiencia 😉
Good afternoon, my dear friends at Hive. I sincerely hope that all of you and your families are well. It's always nice to write about good news, and this morning I decided to do something that I had been thinking about for a while but hadn't gotten around to doing. Here's my experience 😉
Considero que todo aprendizaje es ganancia, esta es la razón por la cual siempre estoy atenta a instruirme en cualquier ámbito que se presente, claro está, en esto también incluyo todo lo que tiene que ver con experiencias propias y ajenas. De cada anécdota aprendemos y de cada vivencia que escuchamos de personas maduras también aprendemos. Siempre me ha gustado saber de todo un poquito y por eso leo bastante, sin embargo, hoy hice algo completamente fuera de mi nicho. Nada más y nada menos me inscribí en un curso de barbería 💇
Quienes me conocen saben que soy pésima en todo lo que tiene que ver con las manualidades, soy bastante torpe con mis manos y esa es la razón por la cual no me he animado a aprender sobre manicure, peluquería, costura y todo aquello que involucre mis manos, no obstante hoy decidí explorar algo nuevo y lleve los requisitos al Ince para estudiar barbería 😱 me da un poquito de susto pero ya lo decidí en mi corazón y solo estoy esperando que me den el horario de clases.
I believe that all learning is beneficial, which is why I am always eager to educate myself in any field that presents itself. Of course, this also includes everything related to my own experiences and those of others. We learn from every anecdote and from every experience we hear from mature people. I have always liked to know a little bit about everything, which is why I read a lot. However, today I did something completely outside my niche. I signed up for a barbering course, no less.
Those who know me know that I am terrible at anything that has to do with crafts. I'm quite clumsy with my hands, which is why I've never been encouraged to learn about manicures, hairdressing, sewing, or anything else that involves my hands. However, today I decided to explore something new and took the requirements to the Ince to study barbering 😱. It scares me a little, but I've made up my mind and am just waiting for them to give me the class schedule.
Se preguntarán qué me motivo a realizar un curso que está completamente fuera de mi nicho, la razón principal es que deseo explorar en lo que no me desempeño, quiero probar cosas nuevas, se presentó la oportunidad y la aproveché. Otra razón es que considero que podría trabajar en cualquier sitio a donde vaya. Me encanta viajar, pero el trabajo que tengo ahorita que es de maestra no me lo permite porque debo atender a los niños según el año escolar. Antes trabajaba solo aquí en Hive y vendía comida, esto me permitía tener un horario genial para salir cada vez que yo quisieran pero las circunstancias cambian y debo ser resiliente. Así que si me va bien con la barbería podré generar ingresos en cualquier sitio remoto a donde desee ir.
You may wonder what motivated me to take a course that is completely outside my niche. The main reason is that I want to explore areas I am not familiar with. I want to try new things. The opportunity arose, and I took advantage of it. Another reason is that I believe I could work anywhere I go. I love to travel, but my current job as a teacher doesn't allow me to do so because I have to take care of the children according to the school year. Before, I only worked here at Hive and sold food, which allowed me to have a great schedule to go out whenever I wanted, but circumstances change, and I have to be resilient. So, if I do well with the barbershop, I'll be able to generate income anywhere I want to go.
Espero aprender lo más que pueda y sacarle el máximo provecho a este curso y si mis torpes manos se interponen, me esforzaré por domarlas. Esto es lo que me gusta, me estoy retando a mi misma, da un poco de susto pero muy internamente me da satisfacción.
La vida se trata de navegar por diversos mares y decir presente en miles de puertos, no quiero estancarme por mis limitaciones, ya lo he hecho durante muchos años y es hora de salir de la zona de confort para sentirme mejor adquiriendo nuevas experiencias. La verdad es que estoy emocionada, vamos a ver qué tal me va, pero el solo hecho de haberme atrevido es un gran logro. Salgamos de nuestros nichos y recorramos el mundo 😉
I hope to learn as much as I can and get the most out of this course, and if my clumsy hands get in the way, I will try to donate them. This is what I like, I am challenging myself, it is a little scary but deep down it gives me satisfaction.
Life is about sailing across different seas and visiting thousands of ports. I don't want to get stuck because of my limitations. I've done that for many years, and now it's time to step out of my comfort zone to feel better by gaining new experiences. The truth is that I'm excited. We'll see how it goes, but just daring to do this is a great achievement. Let's step out of our niches and travel the world 😉
