It takes a great deal of patience and understanding to relate with these awesome beings who have you infuriated ONE MINUTE and the next, highly ecstatic and joyful. In dealing with them, we must remember that there's some part of us in them...and some part of them in us: we are inevitably connected. They need us...we need them, let's be honest.
I have learned to be a better father by being a better 'child' to my Father, God, who reminds me each time that no matter how grown I get, I am still His child, and every error I make keeps me in a position of wanting, nay NEEDING His help, direction, leadership, SUPPORT. So, before you go about ranting and getting upset at the child with thee, think of the child within that needs ATTENTION and UNDERSTANDING...we all do...NONE IS EXEMPTED.
