Gratefully

I am greatfull

I am greatfull for the opportunity to suffer

As without it I would not know compassion

I am greatfull to know death and fear it in all it's terrible magnitude

For every second becomes a beautiful moment

I am greatfull for my failures, in action and character

Which strengthen my resolve, teach me Humility, and sweeten my triumphs

I am greatfull for my weaknesses

So that I can understand it in others

And challenge the limitations of my existence

I am grateful for the things that I have lost

So that I can learn to live without greed,

And find value abundant

I am grateful for despair

For without it I would not know courage

And hope would not have meaning

I am grateful for hate, in all it's melevolence

Because it gives me a choice to love instead
