During a recent trip to the beach, I came across a seagull feather resting nicely on some rocks. Itching to try more macro photography, I slapped on my 80mm lens and took a couple shots. There was a lot of breeze, so I opted for higher shutter speeds to freeze the action of the flailing ends of the strands. I think they turned out well and would appreciate any critique.
I call this an "ice feather" because it is so white and the filtered sunlight lighting makes it look as if it's made of ice crystals. These photos are available in 4K (3840x2160) if you click on the image. I hope you enjoy them!
