This was specifically why I asked for Friday off in addition to my 3 weeks of leave.I like to get the jobs out of the way before the fun can begin.I also like to spend money on the essentials before I can relax and enjoy my holiday.
The long project is finished and my holiday time has started and I have made it a tradition to drink a draft or two after sign-off on a ship. The usual drink for this celebration is Castle Lager. Thank you to everyone on Hive who have been engaging with me and keeping me company through this time.
Finally, with great pleasure I can say that this project is finished! This was a long one and it was receded by another long one. Together the three projects for DBM this year had me on site for 171 days! That's 46% of the year!
What should look like a glorious day and with amazing views one would expect this to be a wonderful day. However, this day is going to be full of stress and pressure.By all means, I want this ship to get done and for myself to leave and go on leave.
