Hola mis amigos de esta gran comunidad.A todos nos gusta visitar nuevos lugares y agregarle nuevas experiencias a nuestras vidas, yo y mi familia,emocionados decidimos emprender un viaje al Parque Natural Topes de Collantes, en el majestuoso Macizo Montañoso Guamuhaya, en la Provincia de Sancti Spiritus. Con maletas repletas de entusiasmo y ganas de explorar, partimos hacia esta maravillosa zona llena de bosques, flora y fauna, con la doble alegría de visitar otra provincia ya que somos e Villa Clara.

Al llegar al parque, fuimos recibidos por la exuberante vegetación y el aire fresco que inundaba nuestros pulmones. Nos adentramos en los senderos rodeados de altos árboles y escuchamos el canto de las aves que revoloteaban a nuestro alrededor. Mi familia y yo nos maravillamos con la diversidad de plantas y flores que adornaban el camino, creando un espectáculo natural inolvidable.

Nos hospedamos en un hotel inaugurado el 9 de mayo del año 1954, por Fulgencio Batista el entonces presidente en esa época, aunque comenzó a construirse en agosto de 1936, es una construcción una de su tipo en Cuba y América Latina, su nombre es Kurhotel Escambray, la palabra kurhotel proviene de la conjunción de curación y servicios hoteleros.

Durante nuestra travesía, nos encontramos con cascadas cristalinas que caían desde una gran altura en estanques de aguas turquesas, invitándonos a sumergirnos en ellas y disfrutar de la belleza del lugar, aunque el agua estaba fría como hielo. Los niños correteaban y jugaban entre los árboles, maravillados por la abundancia de vida que les rodeaba, mientras nosotros los padres contemplábamos con asombro la magnificencia de la naturaleza.

En el recorrido, también tuvimos la oportunidad de avistar diversas especies de animales, desde coloridas mariposas hasta pequeños mamíferos que se ocultaban entre la densa vegetación. Cada encuentro con la fauna local era una experiencia única que enriquecía su viaje y les recordaba la importancia de preservar el equilibrio natural del lugar.

El almuerzo tuvo lugar en la conocida casa de la gallega una señora de origen español asentada en el lugar desde hace más de 40 años. Los platos fueron servidos en un ranchón dentro del mismo bosque, cerca de un rio que pasa bordeando el lugar resaltando aún más el ambiente natural y regalándonos maravillosas vistas de los alrededores. ![IMG_20220826_195815.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/yoani/23uFVqvHNGWWTbM6oqiGM8wnazVMvxEmBx9Eq4UmqYt8hUT9bq2YnqiAN1JiSyDJzxKXS.jpg) # Al final del día, regresamos al alojamiento con el corazón lleno de gratitud por haber tenido la oportunidad de vivir una aventura tan enriquecedora. Hello my friends of this great community. We all like to visit new places and add new experiences to our lives, me and my family, excited we decided to undertake a trip to the Topes de Collantes Natural Park, in the majestic Guamuhaya Mountain Massif, in the Province of Sancti Spiritus. With suitcases full of enthusiasm and desire to explore, we set off for this wonderful area full of forests, flora and fauna, with the double joy of visiting another province since we are from Villa Clara.

Arriving at the park, we were greeted by the lush vegetation and fresh air that flooded our lungs. We entered the trails surrounded by tall trees and listened to the songs of the birds that fluttered around us. My family and I marveled at the diversity of plants and flowers that adorned the path, creating an unforgettable natural spectacle.

We stayed in a hotel inaugurated on May 9, 1954, by Fulgencio Batista, the then president at that time, although it began to be built in August 1936, is a construction one of its kind in Cuba and Latin America, its name is Kurhotel Escambray, the word kurhotel comes from the conjunction of healing and hotel services.

During our journey, we came across crystal clear waterfalls that fell from a great height into pools of turquoise waters, inviting us to dive into them and enjoy the beauty of the place, even though the water was as cold as ice. Children scampered and played among the trees, marveling at the abundance of life around them, while we parents gazed in awe at the magnificence of nature.

During the tour, we also had the opportunity to spot various species of animals, from colorful butterflies to small mammals hiding in the dense vegetation. Each encounter with the local fauna was a unique experience that enriched their trip and reminded them of the importance of preserving the natural balance of the place.

Lunch took place in the well-known house of the Galician woman, a lady of Spanish origin who has been living in the area for more than 40 years.
