I wanted to share something cool that happened these past weeks.
I’ve been doing weekly raffles on Blaze (they happen every Sunday), and one of the prizes is a custom drawing. The winner gets to choose what I draw, and I create it in my style.
Last week’s winner asked for Franky from One Piece.
The challenge wasn’t the mechanical details ,,... I’ve worked on stuff like that before and I actually enjoy it. The real fear was something else: what if he didn’t like the final result?
He gave me a lot of creative freedom, which is amazing because I get to interpret the character my way… but at the same time, that’s scary. When you have freedom, you also have responsibility. And if it didn’t connect with him, that would’ve hurt a little ngl 😅
Also, I’m not really used to drawing men. I rarely do. Most of my work usually goes in a different direction, so stepping into that space felt kinda unfamiliar.
I worked on it in PS , and a big part of the process happened during my Blaze streams. Between fun, pauses, and stream moments, I kept building it little by little.
Even with that, I kept refining the pose, the expression, the energy… trying to make it feel strong but still true to my style.
When he finally saw it and said he liked it, the relief was HUGE. I was genuinely so happy. All the stress just disappeared in seconds.
Fun fact: that same person won again this week 😂 so now I’m waiting to see what I’ll be drawing next.
In the end, this wasn’t just fan art. It was a small trust test. Trusting my style, my process… even when the power goes out and I have to start over lol.

A while ago I was looking for this little shark you see down here 🦈. It’s really special to me. I won it a long time ago here, n it was done by a person many years ago but also I consider a GREAT GREAT GREAT FRIEND now n who does amazing work , very talented🤗.
I thought I had lost it , I was very sad… but noooo! I got it back! Yes ! He found n sent it to me again, and I’m so happy to have it with me once more.
So from now on, this shark will be keeping me company 💙
