In my family, one of my maternal aunts had her birthday a few days ago, so she is a Piscean and I wanted to dedicate this embroidery to her, since Pisceans like to appreciate art and beauty.
As Pisces is a sign of the water element, I chose several shades of blue thread for its realization, as it seemed to me the most convenient, plus other shades of green to make some seaweed to complement the design. Hola, queridos amigos amantes de las manualidades, hoy les traigo un tutorial donde les muestro cómo bordar un diseño dedicado al signo zodiacal Piscis. En mi familia, una de mis tías maternas cumplió años hace unos días, por lo que es pisciana y le quise dedicar este bordado, ya que a los piscianos les gusta mucho apreciar el arte y la belleza.
Como piscis es un signo del elemento agua, elegí varios tonos de hilo azul para su realización, pues me pareció lo más conveniente, además de otros tonos verdes para hacer unas algas marinas que complementaran el diseño. Espero que les guste. A continuación, te muestro todos los materiales necesarios y el paso a paso del proceso creativo.

♓️Step by step // Paso a paso♓️
The first thing you should do is to draw on a piece of paper the design you want to embroider and then transfer it to the fabric, because it is easier this way and there is no risk that if you draw the design on the fabric directly you can make a mistake. To transfer the design to the fabric, the best technique is to use a carbon paper that is placed between the fabric and the paper. Then you go over all the lines of the drawing being very careful not to move the fabric and the paper so as not to run the risk of moving lines and creating imperfections in the design. When finished, it looks a little clear, then, with a pen or marker soluble in water or that is erased with the heat, we mark everything again and thus allow a better visibility of the lines. Finally, place the fabric on the frame.
Lo primero que debes hacer es dibujar en una hoja de papel el diseño que quieres bordar para luego transferirlo a la tela, pues es más fácil así y no se corre el riesgo de que si dibujas el diseño en la tela directamente te puedas equivocar. Para transferir el dibujo a la tela, la mejor técnica es utilizar un papel carbón que se coloca entre la tela y el papel. Luego se va repasando todas las líneas del dibujo con mucho cuidado de no mover la tela y el papel para no correr el riesgo de que queden líneas movidas y se creen imperfecciones en el diseño. Al terminar, se ve un poco claro, entonces, con un bolígrafo o marcador soluble en agua o que se borre con el calor, marcamos todo otra vez y así permitir una mejor visibilidad de las líneas. Por último, colocar la tela en el bastidor.
I started by embroidering the silhouette of the Pisces sign located in the center, for this I chose a blue-green or navy blue color. Then I moved on to the fish scales part using a light blue thread, almost silver tone, which suited them very well, since the fish scales are shiny. This was a bit of a slow process, as I had to do scale by scale and they are small curves. To complete the fish, I used a darker blue color to highlight the fins, head and tail.
Comencé bordando la silueta del signo Piscis ubicado en el centro, para ello escogí un color verde azulado o azul marino. Luego pasé a la parte de las escamas de los peces utilizando un hilo de un tono azul claro casi plateado que le venía muy bien, pues las escamas de estos son brillantes. Este fue un proceso un poco lento, pues tenía que hacer escama por escama y son curvas pequeñas. Para completar los peces, utilicé un color azul más oscuro que resaltara las aletas, la cabeza y la cola.
With the black color I made the round eyes of the fish, while with two different shades of green I bordered the seaweed surrounding them.
Con el color negro hice los ojos redondos de los peces, mientras que con dos tonos diferentes de verde borde las algas marinas que los rodean.
With a golden yellow thread color, I made the flashes of light that embellish the design. With a mauve tone I made the two small lines using the chain stitch I learned recently and with the blue I made some French knots as if they were tiny bubbles or drops of water.
Con un color de hilo amarillo dorado, hice los destellos de luz que embellecen el diseño. Con un tono malva hice las dos líneas pequeñas utilizando la puntada cadeneta que aprendí hace poco y con el azul hice algunos nudos franceses como si fuesen diminutas burbujas o gotas de agua.
