Eight years anniversary on the Steem/Hive blockchain (2025.05.17)

Exactly eight years ago, on 2017.05.17, I registered on the Steem/Hive blockchain (on Steemit).

I found this platform after a GPU/Mining related Google search, and I clicked on a Steemit post.

Currently I do not remember which post it was, and who was the author of it.

I registered on the same day.

Since then I earned a little bit more than 6330 Hive Power.

A few years ago I powered down and I withdrew a few thousands of it.

And I did the same with a little bit more than $1000 HBD.

Financially I literally survived one winter with my Steem/Hive blockchain earnings.

I spent some on food, on bills, and a few years ago I even bought a smartphone too with it.

I lived in rents, and in a partially collapsed house, and for a short time (approximately for one month), even in a homeless shelter in Hungary in the previous few years.

Nowadays I live in a tent in the rocky semi-desert on Tenerife, and in addition to my low pension-like income for my multiple disabilities, I have occasional jobs too.

And because of this, nowadays I am able to actually invest money (regularly/consistently buy cryptocurrencies for fiat money).

I am able to invest money only since a little bit more than half a year.

Seven months ago (on 2024.10.31) I bought cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) (BTC) for cash (coins) (€25 Euro) for the first time (2024.10.31).

Since then I regularly/consistently buy mostly Litecoin (LTC), and I sell it for Hive and for Hive Dollars (HBD).

Currently I have 3501.772 Hive Power and $1282.05 HBD in savings.

Currently my Hive reputation is 72.

Currently my curation APR is 10.21% (usually it is 7-9%).

I am happy and grateful to finally be able to invest money.

I see the long term perspective of this investment.

Currently my plan is to build both my Hive Power and my Hive Dollars (HBD) savings too for long term (for years, for decades) mainly to build passive income.
