I have read a bit about the Quest potions, some are for it, some think it’s a waste, but I have decided to invest in them and after a week’s experimenting, I have weighed the pros and cons for myself and here’s my two cents.⚖️

@Braaiboy has been advising me not to invest further cash into my crypto accounts, but rather wait to build up enough HBD through my Hive posts etc. and invest those rewards, but as I am very impatient and stubborn, I did go forward and buy 10 Quest potions through my credit card. 💳 😝

I kept it quiet for a few days, but when I was rewarded 12 extra cards in 3 days, I couldn’t contain my excitement anymore and spilled the beans. As expected, he just shook his head and laughed at me, but that is me, very impulsive and always willing to take a risk.

The results…

I have been using Quest potions each day for the past week. My account has grown to 20 cards, from a week ago, where it was only 4. This includes 1 card that I received with the season rewards as well.

In these 7 days, my power has grown from 540 to 780 and my SPS rewards has doubled. My DEC has been growing quite satisfactory as well.

🧨🧨 Here comes the but.....

While it was very exciting the first few days to receive all of these extra cards and DEC, it has slowed down to a trickle now. During the past 4 days I have only been rewarded with 1 common card, small amounts of DEC, and the never-ending alchemy potions, this has me feeling a bit annoyed and in the dumps, but if I only had one rewards chest, it would probably only have been a few DEC or a potion as well.

💰💵Will I invest in Quest potions again after my current stash has run out?💰💵

I hate to admit, but I probably will….😁 The feeling of being able to open 6 reward chests instead of 1 after completing a quest, is absolutely priceless. I love Splinterlands because of the quests and my stubborn competitiveness, and the reward chests feels like opening presents, bringing excitement and giddiness and probably makes me a complete nerd, lol.

Let’s see what rewards the next few days deliver till my quest potions run out. Maybe I’ll completely change my mind if I keep receiving only Legendary potions and small amounts of DEC, but at this point, I will invest in the quest potions again, purely because of the satisfaction that opening those 5 extra reward chests bring me!
