🥇 A Breath of Highland Air in Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park Ras Al Khaimah UAE by @gretelarmfeg
The dramatic climb to the Jais Viewing Deck Park takes you 1,250 metres above sea level and almost 30 km into the heart of the mountains. If you seek peace and some space to unwind, the park spans a ridge and features seven viewing decks with 12 powerful binoculars that command unparalleled panoramas. On one side, you have views across the zig-zagging road, swooping valleys and cloud-piercing peaks and on the other, date wadis, villages and the Arabian Gulf.

🥈 🌎 {21/01/26} ✦ "The Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá was restored!" 🌤️ 🧘♀️ ⛪ | Fascinating Architecture ✦ 🇪🇸 │ 🇺🇸 by @tesmoforia
A few days ago, I went to the city center to complete some important paperwork. On the way, I passed “La Basílica de Chiquinquira”, which made me wonder, "What is the difference between a church, a cathedral, and a basilica? What does it mean for a building to be called a basilica in the first place?" This beautiful building is famous for housing a sacred relic, a small wooden tablet on which an image of the Virgin Mary appeared in 1709.

🥉 Mucubají Lagoon – Dreamlike Mérida State by @rosana6
I traveled there from the state of Barinas, where my maternal family is from. It was very special for me to spend time with my family, especially my nephew, whom I have always been very close to, even though he lives in the plains region while I live in the center of the country. So, this trip was very enjoyable for me because I was able to spend a lot of time with him, my siblings and my mother.
