🥇 Hiking Vermont’s Tallest Mountain by @dtam

The beauty of a clear day ontop of the ridgeline of Mount Mansfield, Vermont. You could see for miles today! I sent my drone up to get this picture of me hiking at the top...see if you can find me with my blue backpack. What a day! My legs are going to feel this one. Over 2,500 vertical feet ascending, up the Long Trail, to the top of Mount Mansfield, and then all the way back down on the cliff trail and gondolier. This was a bit of an impromptu hike that took me about three hours. The morning weather had low clouds, socking in the summit, but that all clear in the afternoon. So the hike was on, although I still didn't have a finalized plan until after I parked.

🥈 Niagara on the Lake by @leaky20

Niagara on the Lake is a small town in the province of Ontario Canada and certainly among the nicest small towns to visit in the province. It's also just a stones throw away from the border of the United States. Nestled in the heart of wine country it's situated along on the water of Lake Ontario and the Niagara River. It's approximately 30 minutes from Niagara Falls by car and about an hour away from Hamilton. The town is steeped in history and quaint charm and it all becomes apparent as soon as you set foot along its streets.

🥉 Ruins at the end of the world: this was once Pirihueico Lodge [ENG | ESP] by @cristiancaicedo

We often travel to a place with a list of things we want to do or some places we want to see in that city or country. Being prepared and having an itinerary is good, especially if you have a special reason to visit those places. But even if this is your travel style, I recommend leaving room in your schedule for improvisation because often the most wonderful places we discover come to us unexpectedly.
