Normally I am a person who likes nature more, either to appreciate it or to take pictures is perfect for the same reason, but however I also like to compose images where there is a strong presence of architecture and not necessarily an impressive architecture and large schools as may exist in other countries, just enough to appreciate certain buildings, where I seek to capture different perspectives of that architectural motif, there are always those reasons and can be achieved even with a simple building.

In simple words for this post, today I bring you these 6 black and white photographs for the reasons I wanted to capture, reasons that go from simple things on the street and their details, in such a way I perceive them in that spectacular world of monochrome and therefore these are the results. From the shadow of a streetlight, signage or as I said those details that do not have a meaning as such but are exposed by the same aesthetics that I wanted to capture within the photographic frame.

Shadows will always be there, that's what I think about in my black and white photographs. I always think about creating harmony in the different scenes where there is a greater presence of shadows. I love that and I always tend to capture that as the essence of my photographs. A strong light that generates enough shadows on those subjects that I want to capture is a work of perception at that moment, it is motivating and inspiring.

Today is Saturday, another day to take advantage of the routine of taking pictures, and on a hot afternoon I decided to go to a part of the city of Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, which is usually visited by me, although I know several of those places for a while, but let's say that this part of the city is not so active but still from that point it is considered as the beginning or foundation of the city for more than 70 years, and on the other hand it brings back memories of my childhood when there were places that no longer exist today, such as the old movie theater.

These photographs displayed for today are the view I have on this Friday, a perspective of this world that leaves us with something different every day, because everything changes constantly, that is how I usually perceive it and therefore I try to capture those changes and moments, because that is how I want to save those few seconds when I take the photograph.

For this day I bring you a series of 12 photographs that are comprised of 6 color photos and 6 black and white photos, all of them are photographs that I have from the last time I made a tour of La Llovizna Park, Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, detailing that contrast of the colors of the nature of that area that always has that beauty that can be captured, among various species of flowers or trees, but it was also to capture a bit of that human element within this park, because there will always be that harmony between the human being and nature, and I think that it is necessary even if we live in big cities where everything can be concrete.
