Living in Taiwan now for 3 full years, I have realized after visiting a night market event near our neighborhood... wow the Covid pandemic feels like its truly over. Hellz yea!!~~ Seeing people in the night market all enjoying small little things like snacks and simple carnival games together felt the inner belonging we all have in humanity.
Technology in the sports world has been really fascinating to see its development process. From the early 90s till now we have seen technology influence our lifestyle in ways I have never imagined. One of them is involving Snow Sports.
Remembering the first firearm I purchased there was no doubt I thought it should be the Glock 19 9mm. For guns every individual ha their own preferences and tastes. No one type is better than the other. The design of firearms fundamentally has not changed since 1911... that is literally 111 years already. For that amount of time perfecting every gram the gun has to offer has been implemented. Trust me not all guns are good designs but by shooting as many as I can before buying the Glock was a good first choice.
My wife and son today wanted to eat something special last weekend and when they get another level up of hungry, they become Hangry (Hungry + Angry). This was after golf class so the hunger is set in even further after a workout.
I have always treasured analog audio. I think maybe this mentality comes down from my mother. She buys most of the furniture and appliances once and uses it forever. However, in order to do this she buys it right the first time. Buying it right doesn't always mean to buy the most expensive item listed but she calculates it by incrementing 10 years. Will this last more than 10 years? Will the value of it increase as it ages? Will the brand still be available in 10 years? She really does consider a lot of this into the purchase and till this day most of my parents furniture at their home is still the same ones since I was born. The fabric they replace it with new ones but the stucture itself is still the same. The applies the same way with her audio equipment... :)
Its been a while posting my complete journey of Taiwan with a scooter with my German friend. He wanted me to finish the blog since there were good memories with him. I think traveling with someone brings a lot of one another's personality out and its a great way to create a bond with them. My German friend (aka. Mario) was someone who I met in my Spoken Chinese class and one day we were both thinking about how cool it can be to travel a round-a-bout Taiwan with just a scooter. I knew as a fact this kind of opportunities dont come often in life so I told him to stay at my place and lets get ready to trip Taiwan with a Scooter.
