What, I'm not a Moose?
I recently moved to moose country. And some people think I am Mooooose crazy so it’s apropos. I am from Canada, so I guess being obsessed with moose is very Canadian. I actually saw a moose in my yard.
I live in the forest with the animals. I own 71 acres with a private (albeit small very deep 40 ft) lake. We built a dock last summer and started a bunkie so I can go to the “lake” to get away by hopping on the ATV and a short canoe ride. The beavers try to mess with us and are damming up ponds, so that is a new challenge.

My house is on a pond, right now it is under snow (yah it’s April 14).
Even though I am single, I am not alone as the wildlife keeps me entertained.
And the beauty of it is I can work with the above as my view from my desk. I work from home and am a senior business writer / proposal consultant. I work for a company out of Ottawa, helping small to medium size businesses win government contracts, I work on anything from catering to translation to IT to construction contracts so life is very interesting and deadline driven. So I am happy to be here on Steemit, so I can let loose and show my creative side. My sister ( www.steemit.com@bitkat) is here and she seems to think this is a good idea.!
