Mihai was born in 15 ianuarie. He was the greatest and most intelligent, smart, Romanian poet and romantic, he knew many foreign languages , a handsome man with a strong voice and a proud and refined figure, he was like a beautiful lord.
He was called the luminary of romanian poetry. Mihai Eminescu loved everything that was beautiful and alive... nature, beatiful women,the history of the ancestors, the songs and classic music.
He wrote poems about lakes, birds , the blossoming liden, the geen forest, about the moon as the witness of his loves, stars and sky, love or lonelinessand fantastic prose or theater.
He eulogized the heroes of our contry in the 3rd Letter when the Romanian king Mircea the Elder defeated the sultan of the turks Baiazid and his numerous army, attracting into a swamp.
His poetic masterpiece is the superb poem “Luceafarul”. It is a fantastic story about the luminary from the sky, who wants to become a man because he loved an earthly girl.
He wrote poems full of emotions and joy deep love and unfulfilled dreams , the incomparable poet , the infinte love of our nation. Mihai Eminescu s face is on the Romanian 500 RON banknote.
