Hola hola querida comunidad de hive

Como están el día de hoy? Super feli navidad!. Hoy vengo a hablar sobre mi cena de noche buena de anoche, la cual fue algo muy personal pero a la vez muy muy lindo.

Como en la casa de mayoría de venezolanos, antes se celebraba en grande las navidades, con toda la familia reunida y con muchos regalos y comida. Tristemente ha tocado la triste realidad de que muchos familiares han tenido que emigrar gracias a la situación país, y por eso en las navidades han quedado sillas vacías

En esta ocasión, en la mesa sólo estábamos 5 personas incluyendo a mi perrito, los cuales somos de los únicos que aun quedamos en venezuela. Mi abuela cocino un delicioso pernil muy típico en el menú venezolano navideño. También se hicieron hallacas, pan de jamón, ensaladas y varios postres

La mesa de adorno muy linda para que sea una cena muy linda y esperada. Disfrutamos mucho y nos reímos en familia muchísimo. Yo personalmente no pude acabarme ni siquiera la comida gracias a que había muchísima, y eso que no comí ensalda

Luego de esa rica comida, degustamos muchos dulces hasta que llegó la hora de abrir los regalos. No fue algo ostentoso ni regalos por montón. Debajo del arbolito había un regalo para cada uno el cual todos disfrutaron muchísimo

Tristemente así es la realidad venezolana, la mesa vacía y llamar a los familiares fuera del país en estas fechas. Gracias a dios tuvimos una muy buena comida y una buena noche a pesar de todo. Muy feliz navidad para todos!

How are you today? Super Merry Christmas. Today I come to talk about my Christmas Eve dinner last night, which was something very personal but at the same time very very nice.

As in most Venezuelan's homes, Christmas used to be celebrated in a big way, with the whole family together and with lots of gifts and food. Sadly, we have had the sad reality that many family members have had to emigrate due to the situation in the country, and that is why Christmas has left empty chairs.

On this occasion, there were only 5 of us at the table including my dog, we are the only ones left in Venezuela. My grandmother cooked a delicious pernil, very typical in the Venezuelan Christmas menu. We also made hallacas, ham bread, salads and several desserts.

The table was beautifully decorated to make it a very nice and expected dinner. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot as a family. I personally could not even finish the food because there was so much of it, and I did not eat salad.

After that delicious meal, we tasted lots of sweets until it was time to open the gifts. It was not something ostentatious or a lot of gifts. Under the tree there was a gift for each one of us, which everyone enjoyed very much.

Sadly this is the Venezuelan reality, the empty table and calling relatives out of the country at this time of the year. Thank God we had a very good meal and a good night in spite of everything. Merry Christmas to all!
