Unexpected Walk in the Woods Featuring the Majestic Taal Volcano

Actually, neither my companion nor I expected that we would end ourselves somewhere we weren't planning to go. Actually, we were meant to go home to the City as soon as possible since we still had duties to complete before the weekend ends and since it was Sunday, commuting a public bus could be a lot of struggle. But because my spouse had a craving for Buko (coconut) pie, and we are already in Laguna,(a neighbor province) we didn't pass up the chance to visit the location where the delicacy is offered at a very special ingredient. However, I won't discuss the food in this blog. Instead, I would want to show you this province's stunning landscape, which includes the astounding Taal Volcano.
The trip from Metro Manila to Picnic Grove, Tagaytay, took us just three hours. The Tagaytay province is well-known for its cold temperature, Bulalo (beef soup), and the stunning Taal Volcano landscape. Due to Tagaytay's steep mountains, a lot of people flock here, especially during cold and hot weather. The smallest caldera volcano in the Philippines may be seen here, which is ringed by water. Since the Taal Volcano last erupted on March 26, 2022, the local government declared it as "Permanent Danger Zone," and access to the vicinity is totally banned.
However, my boyfriend and I were really fortunate since the weather was perfect and we got to view the Taal Volcano's hidden stunning beauty. Although I don't know when Taal Volcanic will be available to visitors once again, we should wait until the volcanic warning is out because there is still a significant danger that it will erupt. Just to let you know, the volcano also erupted in the last January 12, 2020, severely affecting the nearby regions. Even Metro Manila was not exempt from damage because the volcano's ash clouds also reached the metropolis.
My partner and I nearly talked for hours since this site is so wonderful. Buying a piece of land in this province appears to be one of the numerous plans we have made for our life. Who, therefore, could not be in awe of this province's stunning beauty? I also fantasized of waking in a setting exactly like this. Isn't it wonderful to be alive?
But on top of that, I also enjoyed Picnic Grove as a spot. In reality, this is one of the locations where the most recent volcanic eruptions left ashes on the ground. The site is among many that are currently shuttered, and many jobs have also been lost. Fortunately, I saw that the area's beauty has gradually returned. Many people have resumed selling souvenirs, and business is decent—especially with local merchants.
At that moment, I am asking my partner not to come too close to the ground because he could fall off the cliff with just one wrong step and hell yeah, he did not listen.
Saw a group of teenagers still sitting there. Partner and I teased each other and told him that I would push him when he sat like that. I would never pose like that for the sake of content.
It was a pretty challenging walk from where we originally began. We will use this as a practice trek, I advised him. But I adore the spot and the way the historic Picnic Grove's charm is preserved. I was there a few years ago, and I can still affirm this to the fact that this spot is still remarkable.
I also appreciate the provincial government's ability to preserve the area's aesthetic appeal and law and order. Evidently, I will return to this location without a doubt, especially given that it is just a few hours from the city.
The day concludes as we enjoy a Starbucks coffee and the stunning sunset. Of course, we made sure to get Buko Pie before leaving the province.

That's a wrap! 🌻✨🍀

Thank you so much for reading this blog. I hope that you enjoyed this weekend story. I'm quiet unsure where to post this blog, but I really believe this one belongs to be posted here in this community.
