I'm officially on vacation now, and I wanted to celebrate by going downtown for a while to meet up with an old friend. We walked around a shopping mall called Galería Plaza, where we had some hot dogs. On the way home, I decided to walk from the entrance of my neighborhood to my street. As I was walking, I came across a beautiful and colorful sunset that caught my attention the moment I saw it, so I stopped by the side of the road to take some pictures.
Oficialmente ya estoy de vacaciones y quise celebrarlo saliendo un rato al centro para encontrarme con un viejo amigo. Paseamos por un centro comercial llamado Galería Plaza, donde comimos unos perros calientes. Al regresar a casa, decidí caminar desde la entrada de mi urbanización hasta mi calle. Mientras caminaba, me encontré con un atardecer muy bonito y colorido que captó mi atención desde el primer momento en que lo vi, así que me detuve al lado del camino para tomar unas fotos.
I'm pleased that the housing development where I live preserves rural spaces, especially in section B, where there are abundant areas with trees and plants that support livestock farming. The spot from which the sunset could be best appreciated had been cleared a few days earlier, which enhanced the beauty of the photograph.
Me complace que la urbanización donde resido preserve los espacios rurales, especialmente en la sección del lote B, donde abundan las áreas con árboles y plantas que favorecen la ganadería. El lugar desde donde se apreciaba mejor el atardecer había sido limpiado días antes, lo que realzó la belleza de la fotografía.
Besides the way the light plays as it enters the clouds, it's also incredibly beautiful. I really love the sun's rays peeking through the clouds, creating golden and harmonious silhouettes.
Aparte del juego que hace la luz al entrar en las nubes, también es muy hermoso. Me gustan mucho los destellos del sol que se escapan entre las nubes, creando siluetas doradas y armoniosas.
The clouds were playing beautifully with the sky, and a gentle breeze was blowing that day, giving them lovely shapes. In the area where I was, where the sun usually beats down intensely and there's no shade, everything looked peaceful.
Las nubes jugaban de manera encantadora con el cielo, y además, ese día soplaba una ligera brisa que les daba formas muy hermosas. En la zona donde me encontraba, donde generalmente el sol pega con fuerza y no hay sombra, todo se veía tranquilo.
December definitely has the most beautiful sunsets. I think that, in addition to being the month that closes the year, it's a month that offers unique moments, along with the well-deserved rest of a vacation after a somewhat complicated year. Being able to go for a walk and end the day with a beautiful sunset is one of the most comforting experiences this part of the city has to offer.
Definitivamente, los atardeceres más hermosos se los lleva diciembre. Creo que, además de ser el mes que cierra el año, es un mes que ofrece momentos únicos, junto con el merecido descanso de unas vacaciones después de un año contable algo complicado. Poder salir a pasear un rato y terminar el día con un bello atardecer es una de las experiencias más reconfortantes que ofrece esta parte de la ciudad.
For next year, I plan to capture one sunset a month and, either in the middle of the year or at the end, create a collage with all of them. I think I'm using this activity as therapy to manage anxiety and stress, since I'm the kind of person who, if I'm not busy, gets restless and stressed out from doing nothing. These kinds of activities are quite relaxing, and I think they're ideal for someone like me. Thank you so much for reading my post and making it this far. Para el próximo año, tengo planeado capturar un atardecer por mes y, ya sea a mitad de año o al finalizar, crear un collage con todos ellos. Creo que estoy utilizando esta actividad como terapia para controlar la ansiedad y el estrés, ya que soy una persona que, si no se mantiene ocupada, se desespera y se estresa por no estar haciendo nada.
