As you can see, today I am here to share with you my visit to the Cristo Rey monument here in Cali, a beautiful monument that I have wanted to visit ever since I started coming to Cali, and I can tell you that it is a wonderful, beautiful place where you can see the whole city of Cali. It is a very pretty place.

Como verán hoy vengo aquí a compartir con ustedes mi visita al monumento Cristo rey aquí en Cali monumento hermoso y que desde que empecé a venir a Cali tenía ganas de conocerlo y le puedo decir que es un lugar maravilloso hermoso, donde puedes apreciar toda la ciudad de Cali, es un lugar bastante bonito.

Many may wonder what Cristo Rey is. Well, Cristo Rey is an iconic monument in the beautiful city of Cali that represents peace and reconciliation in Colombia. From what I have read, the initial design was created by artist Gerardo Navia, but its final construction was carried out by ALIDEO and DELINDO TACIOLI. It is 26 meters high, made of pure reinforced concrete, and located on Los Cristales hill, 1,400 meters above sea level, making it a majestic tourist attraction.

Se muchos se preguntarán qué es el Cristo rey, pues bien Cristo rey es un monumento emblemático de esta hermosa ciudad de Cali que representa la paz y la conciliación de Colombia tengo entendido que según lo que he leído el diseño inicial fue realizado por el artista Gerardo Navia, pero su construcción final estuvo cargo de ALIDEO y DELINDO TACIOLI y consta de una altura de 26 metros estructura hecha de puro concreto armado y está ubicado en el cerro Los Cristales, a 1400 metros sobre el nivel del mar, convirtiéndose en un majestuoso lugar turístico.

Last year, when I came, it was undergoing renovations, so I couldn't go, but this time I took a beautiful tour full of stories where the guide told us about each section as we went along. As you move through the city of Cali, enjoy the tour, which I would repeat as many times as necessary before reaching the top where the monument is located. You pass through a gallery where you can see beautiful photographs of Christ during its construction. It was a fascinating experience. Thank you for reading.

El año pasado, cuando vine estaba en remodelación, por lo cual no pude lograr ir, pero esta vez hice un hermoso recorrido lleno de historias donde el guía nos iba contando en cada tramo su historia y a medida que ibas avanzando de la ciudad de Cali, paseo que disfruten mucho, y el cual volvería a repetir las veces que fueran necesario antes de llegar a la cima donde está el monumento, pasas por una galería donde puedes observar hermosas, fotografías del Cristo momentos de su construcción. Fue una experiencia fascinante, gracias por leer.
