I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (
GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
The more experience that I gain from my explorations within other blockchain ecosystems, for the most part, the more it hits home to me just how amazing and special Hive truly is, and how much more I appreciate Hive's way of doing things. Yes, Hive does have its challenges, and it can indeed be a little rough around the edges at times, but regardless of any of that, for me and my particular proclivities, no other blockchain can compare.

Even the very first thing that someone does in relation to Hive, creating an account, with a human-readable name that is directly connected to the account keys and wallet (for both layer 1 and layer 2), is so much simpler and more integrated and elegant than I've found on most other blockchains, where the process can be more than a little confusing, frustrating, and illogical. Hive's method of having fees handled by Resource Credits, which replenish naturally over time, thus allowing for zero transaction fees, is brilliant, because it means that one does not need to purchase and transfers coins or tokens into his or her wallet before interacting with the Blockchain. It also means that someone can start from nothing, zero assets, and build and grow over time, which is absolutely incredible.

The seamless ease with which layer 2 is connected and integrates with layer 1 on Hive is beautiful to behold and to use, and it's not something that I've found anywhere else. The fact that everything that Hive is, and everything that exists within its ecosystem, is 100% community-driven, with no involvement of any corporation or government, and no single foundation/organization or individual leading the way, is extremely rare, and quite exceptional, in the cryptosphere. Hive truly is The People's Blockchain.
Across layer 1 and layer 2, the diverse and multitudinous ways to leverage and grow assets and income (both active and passive) on Hive is unparalleled, and it's one of many reasons why Hive is my primary investment focus. Whole new investment opportunities will also be opening up once VSC (an entirely new layer-2 implementation, to complement Hive Engine) finally comes online.

There are all sorts of wildly different people in the world, and for whatever reason, Hive 'fits' me (it's a lock and key kind of thing) in a manner, and to a degree, that is truly astonishing. When I discovered Hive, I lit up with excitement, while there are many others that come, take a cursory look, and leave almost as soon as they arrive, and maybe that's a good thing. Hive isn't for everyone, and perhaps it shouldn't be. Personally, I only want people on the Blockchain that can actually see and understand just how special Hive is, the incredible opportunities and potentials available here, and who have actual love, passion, and care for our Blockchain home.

Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, just a little after 1:30PM, putting my attention first on some photography for these posts, and for my entry in the
Reflection Hunters Contest. Once I had a nice batch of shots, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, partly in the rain. When I had that done, I went to Tutu's to retrieve some food supplies for the Landing, I took a shower, and I made myself some food (
mini spiced and seasoned beef patties, with pepper jack cheese, and mixed honey and horseradish mustards) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I finally headed back to the Flow House, to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my backlogged notifications. Very thankfully Ecency was working again, and I was able to catch up fully on two days of notifications. I got everything done by just about 10PM, definitely sooner than I expected, at which point I wrote and published
My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 210 - Mossy-Rock Reflections, did some asset management, scanned my X feed, and I finally went to bed just after 12AM. I woke up around 7:15AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, beginning on this post, solving an issue on my computer, and then going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to resolve another issue on my computer, and to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, which is a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to first focus on more photography for these posts, and then community/land work, hopefully not in the rain. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's version of this post!
Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
