My daughter woke up and her teeth were gone. How can this be?
“Mummy, my teeth are gone! What is happening?” she said.
My daughter was shocked that her teeth were gone. What came to my mind was, “Sorry, pretty thing. RIP.” Two teeth in a roll is shocking 😞.
My daughter didn’t understand why her teeth were gone.
She went to the mirror 🪞 to check it out, but it wasn’t there.
“I can’t feel it,” she said.
I smiled. “It’s okay to lose those teeth. New ones will grow. All these things happen so you can grow new teeth, which will become permanent. That tooth is called a milk tooth.”
“Oh! Mummy! Is that so?” she said.
Yes my dear!
Very soon, her brothers started to tease her when she smiled.
She would run to me, saying, “Mummy, my brother said I have a window in my teeth.”
I told her brothers jokingly to stop the teasing.
She washed the tooth every night as if it would come back to her.
To me, I was saying, “RIP, tooth.”
Smiles.
She covered her mouth while smiling, just because of her missing teeth.
I told her, “Dear, you are beautiful the way you are. Do not be ashamed.”
Soon, new teeth began to grow, and my baby girl smiled more.
This story tells us that in every disappointment, there is a blessing afterwards.
