And the stack continues to grow. Another Money Monday means adding more metals to the safe! With Trump's European tariffs kicking in today, some of my options picks took a bit of a hit, especially TSLA, and it seems like the options market is cooling off a bit, so I had to take what I could get for my contracts. So this week's metal buy wasn't as big as I had hoped. But it's all good, any bit added to the safe is a good thing.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in the heat of the day trading battle. The markets have been moving, sure, but I’ve had my hands full with other parts of life and other projects. Between family matters and building up the farm, there just hasn’t been time to sit at the screen for hours trying to catch trades. Lately, though, with things on the farm running smoothly and the family stuff settled down, I’ve found myself getting a bit bored during the day and that's when the ADHD kicks in and I start going from one thing to another with no real progress being made. Selling options contracts for the family hedge fund doesn’t take much of my attention, and honestly, I miss the action. So, I’m getting ready to jump back into the trenches.

It's time for another garden project here on the @run-a-muck-farms homestead. My tomatoes and pepper plants are starting to get big enough that they need support, the tomatoes especially. I had been playing with some ideas about building a trellis out of some old fencing instead of buying something like a round tomato cage so that I can train them to just go up the trellis. So after seeing my poor tomato plants starting to lean over, it was time to get the job done.

This past weekend, ‪my buddy, FlyHighFPV‬ and some awesome volunteers from our FPV drone group, the Dirty South Bandhoes, came over and helped continue the build of our private FPV park, the Dirty South FPV Park on my homestead farm, ‪@run-a-muck-farms‬ . I wanted to share some of the progress with you from the eye of my SpeedyBee Bee25 cinewhoop with it's DJI O3 air unit.

I have been getting asked why I mine Monero with Macs instead of building out a typical Ryzen mining rig like most folks in the XMR scene. For me, it’s a mix of experience, efficiency, and just knowing how to make the Apple ecosystem work for me. I spent nearly a decade working for Apple, so I know these machines inside and out. That alone gives me an edge when it comes to setting up and managing multiple devices across my homestead. I can remotely access any of them from my main Mac without jumping through hoops, which makes monitoring and tweaking my mining setup pretty simple.

Lately, I’ve been working on running some of my mining gear off solar. I’ve got a couple of Mac Minis pulling full-time Monero mining duty, and I’ve been trying to get my Mini DOGE and Mini DOGE III ASIC miners back on solar power too. I don't want to be paying for the power if I can produce it!
