Hey friends!I had a nice morning earlier today because I could go for a walk. It was a productive walk since we had to go to the supermarket and get some stuff as well. It just feels great to move, especially when I'm mostly on my desk at work. I freed up my weekend this time, so I need not think about work and just enjoy my time. And since I had some free time, I decided to do a cute little painting for FreeCompliments Weekly Art Contest this week. I hope the host doesn't mind me submitting an entry every week. haha

Although Laputa is her favorite, I decided to make her Chihiro and Haku (for now). I don't know why, but I feel like drawing them, especially Haku's dragon form. I thought it would be cool. haha Of course, I'll paint more Ghibli stuff in the coming days for my mom and my collection. I guess the size of the watercolor paper plays a role as well. It's so cute that painting on it feels like creating a postcard, and it doesn't take too much time. Anyway, let me show you some progress shots of my fan art!

Then, using my white gel pen, I made the starry sky. As for the tree silhouette, I used a black gel pen. :) It's simple, so I could make it in 15 minutes... the drying of the paint took much of the time. I also purchased these cute LED lights. I wanted to read books on my loft bed before going to sleep, but the power outlet is so far, and I don't want to waste my power bank on my USB light. This one is rechargeable, so I can just recharge it in the morning. It's also a good emergency light in case of a power outage.

They also have to face the man-eating monsters from time to time in order to move forward. For some reason, Maru has the ability to actually get rid of it. Will the two find what they're looking for?
