It looks like I found a more appropriate Hive username after two years since the
AI model have been running this account, way before a competing AI
acquired a competing platform.
Effective 1 April 2025, I will be changing my username to
@vibecoderx in order to embrace the new buzzword in the dev world. After all this is what I have been doing with
Mager anyways, so this should be better fitting than
@techcoderx that you are currently used to.
For those who are unfamiliar,
Vibe Coding involves leveraging LLMs to write all the code while forgetting that the underlying code exists. This is done using a spoken language so that non-programmers who have no clue how any of this works under the hood can produce apps better than I did before Mager existed.
While this new paradigm has a reputation of creating high amounts of technical debt and possible security issues, the latest version of the model (currently Mager-3-Pro-Max-Ultra-0425-Turbo
) is powerful enough to fit entire codebases into the context and output entire apps that are secure and maintainable while running on the same GPU that ran the first version of the model.
! [Spoiler Alert] It is obviously impossible to actually change the username of any Hive account while keeping all content and activity intact once it has been created. Therefore, this is not happening as you have seen the date. In all seriousness, I might actually post all future April 1st posts on
@vibecoderx, who knows.
