With the recent launch of VSC mainnet earlier this month, I'm announcing my new public VSC API endpoints for general use along with other related developments.GraphQL EndpointThis is the standard API endpoint that is part of go-vsc-node. There has been a huge influx of laws being proposed and/or passed in many countries around the world concerning online freedom. The excuse to justify these draconian laws has always been to "protect children" or to "counter illicit activity". Malaysia is no exception as there has been a wave of censorship in recent months over here. It is well known for being the country with the most number of takedown requests on TikTok for twelve months and counting

A severe power outage (due to surge) occurred on 24 November 2024 10:21 UTC, which took down my OPNSense router and therefore rendered the API server inaccessible to perform a graceful shutdown on-time.This has been the most severe power incident experienced ever as the outage lasted for around 5 hours before the power supply was restored. The power surge blew the fuse at electric meter, one Ethernet port on router connected to UPS (indirectly connected to ISP modem which was not affected) and many other unrelated appliances.
