The Czech lion is every year minted since 2017 and in the beginnigs it has the same design. The design is changed on yearly base from the 2019. But kind of "new" line started in 2021 when the realistic lion with crown on its head is placed on the reverse side of the coin. If you check the previous

The 2022 lion is depicted from the anfas. And it looks really good...
The obverse side presents the eagle, which is a synthesis of the St. Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian birds of prey. And of course the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, cause the coin is minted in licence of the island of Niue.

Na averzu je pak vyobrazena orlice, která je syntézou svatováclavského, moravského a slezského dravce. A samozřejmě portrét královny Alžběty II., protože mince je ražena v licenci ostrova Niue.
