As you know, I buy Czech lion every year. And I have not post for a long time, so this is the day whe the '24 Lion will come to #silvergoldstackers ;)The coin received a new relief in 2024, however, the main idea remained the same. The reverse side is dominated by the Czech lion in realistic rendition with the St. Wenceslas crown on its head. An additional motif is the eagle, which is a synthesis of the St Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian birds of prey. As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the licence of a foreign issuer, which is the island of Niue, their obverse side bears its necessary attributes – the portrait of the King Charles III., the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2024.

Since the last update, I have been running the witness server in version 1.27.3, but I have been repeatedly experiencing technical issues over the last few months. I always ended up reinstalling and replaying lasting several days.

Nějaký čas jsem sotva stíhal sledovat nové posty, natož potom ještě něco zveřejnit... Ale rád bych. A kdy, když ne dnes? PF sem dávám tak nějak tradičně.Četl jsem tu nějaké bilance předešlého roku, četl jsem tu nějaké plány do toho příštího. Asi nebudu psát ani jedno ani druhé. Je pár věcí, o kterých bych se rád rozepsal, ale určitě v samostatných postech. Na některých již jsem začal, tak snad dojde i k publikaci ;)

All the Czech lions variants were reworked in 2023. The main idea is the same as on the previous coins, it means the czech lion and the St. Wenceslas crown on the reverse side. The lion in the realistic design again, but the crown is not on the lion's head, but the lions keep the crown safe. The obverse side presents lime branches with the eagle together. The lime-tree is the Czech national tree. You could see Queen Elizabeth II on the 2022 coin, but the 2023 version bears the national emblem of the island of Niue as the issuer.

The Czech lion is every year minted since 2017 and in the beginnigs it has the same design. The design is changed on yearly base from the 2019. But kind of "new" line started in 2021 when the realistic lion with crown on its head is placed on the reverse side of the coin. If you check the previous in this post, you will see the lion in profile. The 2022 lion is depicted from the anfas. And it looks really good... The obverse side presents the eagle, which is a synthesis of the St. Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian birds of prey. And of course the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, cause the coin is minted in licence of the island of Niue.

Kroky jsou včerejší, večer jsem odeslat report nějak nezvládl... Třetí den třetí trek. Trasa začíná stoupáním cca 650 m, celkově pak tisíc výškových... Uff. dnes už cesta domů stejnou trasou, letecky Krakow, autem domů.
