Watch on 3SpeakLast weekend, I went for a small hiking close to the city of Huairou, where I am currently living. As usual on Sunday, I woke up late in the morning and I went there in the late afternoon and I had plan to come back to my dormitory before the Iftar as it is Ramadan when we muslim people keep fasting throughout the year. As I don't have to eat throughout the day, which is quite soothing for me to have some outdoor activity during this time. Though the weather was not so amazing as often we have here but I don't want to miss the weekend from the opportunity to explore some places.

Greetings, My dear Hive Fellows.Having a weekend is always a great day when you have 6 working days throughout the work, and that makes my weekend very special in the extreme working pressure, though as a student, I get comfortable flexibility in my student life also. But every weekend, we are always expected to have a new plan and hope to spend the day with something new. But in the winter season, I am quite reluctant to do most of the activities that I do as the freezing cold has not been common for me since my childhood in Bangladesh. The winter is at the end of this March as Spring has started in many parts of China, and I hope Beijing will also get its true spring beauty in the coming month.

Greetings, My dear Hive Fellows.To spend this weekend in a different way, I have cleaned my bicycle to start cycling the next week as the temperature in my area has started rising from the frozen level, and often during the day time, it crosses 10 degrees Celsius. I have not taken any meal during the whole of Ramadan, which started on the first day of March. So, I have decided to have my dinner at a local Xinjiang Restaurant, which is known as a halal restaurant all over China, as they offer halal foods without any dishes with pork or pork-related cuisine. Also, the dishes in this type of restaurant offer most of the dishes originated from the Xinjiang Province, which is a Muslim-majority province of China. You can find such halal restaurants in every corner of China I have visited in my life in China since 2019.

Greetings, My dear Hive Fellows.Finally, the wait is over as Beijing had its first snow in the middle of March when the temperature increased significantly. In the morning, when I went to the office, there was no forecast, and during the launch break, I checked that there could be rain this afternoon. After the launch break, I went to my laboratory and worked until late afternoon, around 5:40. I didn't know about the incident when it was snowing, and also I had not seen the excitement with the snow among my colleagues and nearby people used to be in the winter snow days. So, I was completely shocked when I returned to my dormitory after 5:40 as I saw the surrounding grasslands had become white and covered with today's snow.
