It's been a while since I posted about our farm. The area we used to plant was now a road, so we asked the contractors to improve the area left , so now we have a wide flat area instead of the previously sloping area.
And now we started planting some vegetable to once again start our little farm. We are here today to plant some camote, my son and my nephew is here to help. And as always my mother, an experienced farmer is here to take the lead.
We already have some vegetable that are ready for harvest like this string beans.

By the way we live in the Philippines , a tropical country where you can grow a lot of vegetables.
Aside from this string beans, we also have okra, ampalaya and some tomatoes. This vegetables are just easy to grow that why we chose them.
The Okra are now starting to have fruits, the usual recipe for this is just adding soy sauce and some onions. What I love about this vegetable is it help a lot in better digestion for a good bowel movement.
The ampalaya is just starting to have some shoots, in a few weeks this will also start to bear some fruits, but the leaves are already edible.
The tomatoes already have flowers, this plant grow very fast, so I'm also expecting some fruits in a few weeks. We slice the fruits making it into salad or mixing in some viands that we cook to give a little sour kick in it.
But my favorite is this chili, this are native chili . We love spicy food so this plant is a must , a meal without chili sauce is not complete. I planted a couple of this and will plant more when the seedlings sprout.
And finally, I want to share the view from our little farm. The sunset here is very majestic, we can see the sun as it sets on the horizon.
And that's it for the sneak peak for our new farm. Hope to share more in the future.
Thanks for dropping by, have a good day.
See you in the next one!
