Weekend plans

Hello everyone!
As the weekend is coming closer and closer, today I will write about the plans I have for the weekend. It will for sure start great as I will go to a restaurant which is being said to be able to receive a Michelin star in the near future. It's called Ukiyo and combines French and Japanese kitchen. It's driving for quite a distance but it should be worth it if I may believe the reviews. We'll see what my tummy will say. Will it be yummy in my tummy?
The better part is that we can go utilizing a less expensive price. In Belgium, there is an event called 'Jongkeukengeweld' which wants to promote restaurants with young chefs to youngsters, younger than 35years old. To promote these restaurants, you can participate in the event and enjoy the restaurants with a discount. I already wqnted to participate for years but often forgot to enter the event in time. This year, I remembered it in time, made a notification in my agenda and was effectively in time to make a reservation. Thus Friday, we'll go and enjoy the dinner there. For my readers in Belgium, definitely worth it to check out the event. For my foreign followers, I am wondering if your country has such events as well?
On Saturday I won't do anything special. Ofcourse there will be the walks with our dog Molly, but that would be it. Guess we'll clean our house as well. It's becoming kind of messy lately. I don't like to clean. It's definitely one of the chores I hate to do the most. But what needs to be done, needs to be done... Going to the supermarket is something I like as I can look around and buy new things I've never bought. I'm definitely not a kitchen wunder but I always like to try out new food and drinks.
A small side story, but when I am abroad and I al in a bar or a restaurant, I will always try out some new beer. I live with the idea that maybe there are such awesome beers in the world which I have never tried. So I always try new ones. Usually it isn't better than my favourite ones, but you never know a new one couldn't become my new favourite. So, I just try it out!
Back to the weekend. On Sunday I will try to visit my grandparents. I try to do so every week. Although sometimes it doesn't work out and I skip a week. I know though that they are always happy when I come over so I try to not skip them too often. Usually my grandmother will bake some cake so it's always yummy in my tummy when visiting them.
That's it for this weekend. As said, nothing that special, but these are the weekends I like the most. As I am able to recharge my batteries for the next week of work.
Thanks for stopping by!
