The NewsI have seen lots of people celebrating that Hive was created five years ago this week. If you do not know the history behind that then I would encourage you to read up. Some of us were on the blockchain for longer and had to fight a hostile takeover. The outcome was a vibrant community that is creating lots of cool stuff. There is nothing quite like it that I have seen. The blockchain world is often about money, but Hive offers more than that. It is an alternative to the corporate social media platforms that exploit users. We need the world to know about it, so spread the word.

Game of Thrones must be one of the biggest things in TV in the last twenty years. There have been plenty of fantasy shows before, but this spanned multiple locations across Europe to give different climates. It had battles on a massive scale, and dragons.

It has been a while since I blogged about books I have been reading, apart from a graphic novel. I do not get through a huge number of books, but I have a big pile I am working through. I do still read mostly paper books. I think this is my first post in the Hive Book Club, but I keep a log on Rambling Readers, which is part of the Fediverse I mentioned the other day.
