Visiting the Aqua Reptarium
For some time I had wanted to share with my family, my wife
@mariafrancesita and our beautiful girl, my visit to the Aqua Reptarium, a totally new experience for the three of us.
The Aqua Reptarium is located in the vicinity of the Caricuao Zoo in Caracas Venezuela and has as a shelter for various animals, specifically reptiles.
Desde hace un tiempo había querido compartir lo que había sido mi visita junto a mi familia, mi esposa
@mariafrancesita y nuestra niña hermosa, al Aqua Reptarium una experiencia totalmente nueva para los tres.
El Aqua Reptarium se encuentra ubicado en la inmediaciones del Zoológico de Caricuao en Caracas Venezuela y cuenta como albergue de diversos animales en especifico reptiles.
For us it was a bit of a spooky experience if you could call it that, but an experience that we definitely needed to live, to know this place was one of our pending for some time.
Inside the Aqua Reptarium we were able to see species that we had never seen before and for my little girl it was a whole new world that she was being exposed to and she was confronted with, but at the same time learning from the amount of species that are kept there.
Para nosotros fue una experiencia un poco tenebrosa si se le podría decir de esta forma, pero una experiencia que definitivamente necesitábamos vivir, conocer este lugar era uno de nuestros pendientes desde hace un tiempo.
Dentro del Aqua Reptarium pudimos ver especies que no habíamos visto nunca y para mi niña era un mundo totalmente nuevo al que estaba siendo expuesta y del cual fue enfrentando pero aprendiendo a su vez de la cantidad de especies que allí tienen en resguardo.
From cases like the Pac-Man Frogs (a funny name to tell the truth) a very different species of frog, very round and strange for the common frog species seen here in Venezuela.
Then we can find the "Red Tegu" which I found curious because it was a green reptile, a kind of big lizard, very passive but very intimidating.
Then there was the "Green Sri Lankan Vibora" snake, this one was really scary, a poisonous snake, green, small but dangerous.
After that we went on to see many more species of which I will share a series of photos below:
Desde casos como las Ranas Pac-Man (un nombre gracioso a decir verdad) una especie de rana muy diferente, muy redonda y extraña para lo común de las especies de ranas que se ven aquí en Venezuela.
Luego podemos encontrar el "Tegu Rojo" que me pareció curioso porque era un reptil de color verde una especie de largarto grande muy pasivo pero muy intimidante.
Luego una serpiente "Vibora verde de Sri Lanka, esta si daba miedo, una serpiente venenosa, verde, pequeña pero peligrosa.
Luego de ello seguimos viendo muchas más especies de las cuales les compartiré una serie de fotos a continuación:
Well, as you have been able to see, they have been species that scare anyone and by this point my little girl, who was very brave during the whole visit, started to tell us, "Daddy, mummy... let's go" and yes, in the end the best decision was to leave, we had already known enough, so we had achieved our goal, our goal had been more than surpassed.
So we were a bit scared but at the same time very happy to have accomplished this visit and to have lived this experience.
Bueno, como han podido ver han sido especies que dan miedo a cualquiera y para este punto ya mi niña que fue muy valiente durante toda la visita si nos empezó a decir, "Papá, mamá.. ya vámonos" y si, al final la mejor decisión era irse, ya habíamos conocido lo suficiente así que habíamos logrado el cumplido, nuestra meta había sido más que rebasada.
De tal modo que estábamos un poco asustados pero al mismo tiempo muy felices de haber cumplido con esta visita y de haber vivido esta experiencia.
