We Are The Splinterns
In order to carry the momentum of cryptocurrency as a whole into the mainstream, it is crucial that resources are invested into the next generation. Splinterlands understands the importance of youth in the blockchain space and is committed to driving growth for a better future. In partnership with The Blockchain Founders Fund, Splinterlands CEO & Co-Founder Jesse "aggroed" Reich has assembled a team of bright minded, collegiate students from around the world to collaborate on a special project designed to enhance the Splinterlands ecosystem.
The group of students, known as "Splinterns", are able to receive college credit from their Institution for work in the Summer Internship program. During the 3 month internship period, the Splinterns will work together, remotely, while receiving assistance and mentorship from some of the top minds in the industry. Each Splintern excels in a unique expertise from front/back end development to data science to marketing; the Splinterns cover all the bases.

We are the 1st team of Splinterns, but the vision is that the “Splinternship” will be a summer program with different teams and different projects each iteration. This summer, we are focused on building a functioning 3rd party market that appeals to Splinterlands players of all experience levels.
