Growing up in the rural neighbourhood of Anambra state, worshiping in one of the catholic churches there, I remember how we enjoyed the choristers singing different hymns in different melodious voices. Thinking about it now, it strikes me of how they were able to create such beauty without any musical instruments. It was an outstation church , and perhaps that was why they were just singing without those instruments I guess. It wasn't until later that I realized how things could be different with musical instruments backing up those melodious vocals.

From the days of trekking and horse riding to the evolvement of cars, ships and airplanes, but as always evolution comes with both advantages and disadvantages.

The healthcare system in Nigeria is far from perfect, and while I can't say it's all bad, there are rooms for improvement and when I say rooms, I am emphasizing seriously on the plural 'rooms' because it's shambles down here for real; it's painful and disheartening talking about it especially as someone who is in the system.
Rules and regulations are made for men, not men for the rules and regulations. In that same way, rules exists to maintain orderliness in the society, and anarchy sets in when these rules are made and yet not followed. The reason why people get punished when they've committed a crime isn't just because of the immediate impact but rather, to avoid the negative ripple effects that comes with letting them go.
