This morning the official Steemit Inc delegation to Spaminator was removed. That left Spaminator powerless. The scammers and exploiters rejoiced. But alas, the joy of the scammers was short lived. I would like to apologize to all scammers for cutting their vacation short.

You may see some upvotes from Spaminator. With Tron arbitrarily deciding that Steemit's ninja-mined stake no longer has any restrictions attached to it, it also lifted our restrictions on curation through upvotes. We still have our delegation but we're awaiting it's loss any moment, at which point we'll redo our scope with your help.

This post is meant to address some of the misunderstandings various members of the community have about how Spaminator works. It's current to the later part of 2019. Facts: DevelopmentSpaminator is currently a bot that is intended to be hands-off. What that means is that it's designed to run based on its own scripts and not based on a person manually logging into the account to hit the downvote button. Hitting the downvote button manually is detrimental to Spaminator and we try to avoid it as much as possible. Hitting the unvote button will be done when needed. The upvote button may not be used.
