Okay. The past two months have been silent for me on Hive. I have only been threading, which is okay because I like short form posting a lot. But as, we have some changes in our life, I want to share them with you in a long form post. So first of all, my arthritis, my rheumatoid arthritis did not really get better, but it also hasn't turned to a worse. I constantly have pain in my right hand and in my right elbow and in my left middle finger, which looks like a big sausage. As much as they say that a chronic disease does not define you, it most certainly defines what you can and can not do.
But let's just pretend everything is ok and move on to some nicer topics.
We have plunged into homeownership. On April 1, we will pay a bunch of money to a dude, and he will hand us the keys to our new home in Baden, near Vienna. It's a small little house with only 70 square meters, but it's in the center of the town, only 450 meters away from the central market, and it is in a quiet street with no car traffic at all. It is a pedestrian area, leading to two parks and there are some nice little shops in our street.
So it is very exciting. Next to the house, there is a shop area which has 45 square meters and three rooms, which we will be renting as well. So we have space for our little studios. My wife has a bunch of lasering and cutting machines, which need to be stored somewhere. And why not right next door in our own little studio?
The middle room will be a shop area where you actually can shop the crafts and art artsy stuff my wife does. And on the right side of the studio, I will have my recording and streaming studio where all the magic happens, where all the hive content is created. I also got accepted into the
KOMPETE creators program, which is awesome, and I will be creating a lot of content in that manner. So if you wanna support me, just use the code, SOLYMI, when buying VOOLAH in the
KOMPETE Shop.
Also, as I am a photographer, I cannot just do a blog post on Hive without sharing some photographs from the past few months. And after all we are in the photography lovers community. So without further ado let us dive into my camera roll and see what we captured in the past 2 months.
This was just last weekend as I was driving to Luxembourg. Don't text and drive they say, but nobody ever said don't drive and whip out your Sony alpha II. Seriously do not take out a big camera and start shooting photos while driving!
My side hustle takes me to some real nice places in Vienna. This is the staircase of a beautiful house next to the city hall.
This is the only thing I will be missing, the amazing sunrise colours from our balcony.
We have been shooting a movie about the revenge of the blood countess and we had two amazing and very cold nights in the Vienna Prater. The giant ferris wheel weighs 43 tons and it has been standing there since 1897.
As always thanks a lot for your attention and see you next time.
HIVE ON!
