El viernes 6 de febrero en la Unidad Educativa Josefina Rojas Lovera vivimos un momento inolvidable. Los estudiantes de la cátedra de percusión de la Escuela de Música Ángel Briceño ofrecieron una presentación dedicada a los Peregrinos que visitaban la institución. Esta publicación corresponde a la tercera parte de esa actividad, bajo la dirección del profesor Jesús Salvatierra, quien acompañó a los jóvenes con entusiasmo y dedicación. Yo registré el video con mi teléfono Redmi A5 para conservar este recuerdo.
En esta ocasión lo más llamativo fue el ritmo urbano con baquetas y el sonido de los pies. Los estudiantes combinaron golpes de baqueta con pisadas rítmicas para seguir la melodía de una canción reconocida. Esa mezcla generó un ambiente vibrante y contagioso, demostrando que la música puede surgir de la unión entre lo tradicional y lo corporal. Cada golpe y cada paso se transformaron en música, mostrando que la creatividad convierte lo más sencillo en arte cuando hay pasión y trabajo en equipo.
Los Peregrinos disfrutaron intensamente la presentación y respondieron con aplausos y sonrisas. Se notaba en sus gestos la emoción de recibir un homenaje tan auténtico. Los estudiantes, por su parte, se sintieron orgullosos de mostrar su trabajo y comprobar que su esfuerzo fue reconocido.
Este instante nos recuerda que la música puede surgir de cualquier lugar y que con imaginación y unión se logran experiencias inolvidables. Para mí fue un honor grabar y compartir este momento, porque refleja el espíritu de nuestra comunidad: alegría, talento y deseo de seguir creciendo.

On Friday, February 6th at the Josefina Rojas Lovera Educational Unit, we experienced an unforgettable moment. The percussion students from the Ángel Briceño Music School offered a performance dedicated to the Pilgrims visiting the institution. This post corresponds to the third part of that event, directed by Professor Jesús Salvatierra, who guided the young musicians with enthusiasm and dedication. I recorded the video with my Redmi A5 phone to preserve this memory.
This time, the highlight was the urban rhythm using drumsticks and the sound of their feet. The students combined stick beats with rhythmic steps to follow the melody of a well-known song. That fusion created a vibrant and contagious atmosphere, proving that music can emerge from the blend of traditional tools and body movement. Every strike and every step turned into music, showing that creativity transforms the simplest elements into art when there is passion and teamwork.
The Pilgrims truly enjoyed the performance, responding with applause and smiles. Their expressions reflected the joy of receiving such an authentic gesture. The students, in turn, felt proud to present their work and to see their effort appreciated.
This moment reminds us that music can arise from anywhere, and with imagination and unity, unforgettable experiences can be created. For me, it was an honor to record and share this moment, because it reflects the spirit of our community: joy, talent, and the desire to keep growing.
