When we founded the #solarisfuture intiative we did this, because we did believe HIVE is an optimal tool to bring help to communities in need and their word back to the world. And we were sure, that it is necessary because no one else is doing it. Little did we know how wrong we were. We knew of course of the borehole project - but being funded by the DAO it is in a whole different league than what we are aiming for. But then we discovered the @cleanplanet project, the @hive.helps project and now finally the awesome @cbrsphilanthropy project - which we have been introduced to at the amazing @buzzparty 2024 organized by @tibfox in Hamburg. You really should visit their respective blogs and webpages to have a first-hand look what they are doing - it's just nothing short of fantastic.

Project solarisfuture did receive its first HBD donation. Its time to celebrate! The wonderful donor was @bubblegif who is also part of the @laro-racing team. We are very grateful for this donation and hope the project can attract many more donations in the future.

Dear hiveans,we want to give a quick update about our curation project so far. Thankfully we already got some small HP delegations apart from the big one made by our main supporter.In regards to curation we could support already many posts and projects... especially the hive borehole project is exactly one of those fantastic projects we would very much like to see, attract to and support on the hive blockchain. The hive blockchain and ecosystem is just perfect for the direct link between support by upvote / donation and reporting about the project development. This subsequently offers a direct relation and accountability with the project and involved persons.

As some might know we started a new curation project here on hive a few weeks ago, targeting green / ESG / sustainable content. As reference find the original article here: Pretty soon we got very valuable feedback advising us to use our own topic / hashtag. At the same time we discovered that unfortunately due to crypto-winter many green projects, especially from Afrika, Asia and Latin America, seemed to have stopped posting or left HIVE all together. Because of this finding the content we are looking for is pretty hard work.

HIVE with the POS mechanism and decentralized government structure is likely the most “ESG-compliant” blockchain out there atm (ESG = Environmental Social Governance). This is why HIVE naturally should be the perfect place for ESG projects and bloggers from all over the world. And this is exactly why we started this project.
