I heard a song tonight. The sound brought back memories of simpler times. Times spent riding in cars on hot summer days with windows rolled down to feel the warm breeze through your hair. The radio cranked as loud as it could go while you felt the music in your soul.

It's July. Last year in July, my world changed forever. What I thought would be a lot of work for a month turned into a year of Hell on Earth.I am getting less and less healthy. My body is breaking down faster and faster. I have fewer days where my mind and body are well enough to do anything.

I was on edge. After two hours of sleep, I woke up feeling I should call my mother. I grabbed my phone and dialed. No one answered, and I remembered she was to see the Dentist that morning to get a tooth fixed where an old filling had fallen out and needed to be refilled. I got up to wait it out, knowing she would call me back once she got home.

The other night, I was minding my business and trying not to overthink. When I need to not think, I usually turn to YouTube and mindless videos. Over the last few months, I have watched many people build log cabins out of wood with just an axe.

Someone asked me about tokens the other day. I laughed and sent them the name of another person who understands how tokens work because I do not.I have tokens on Hive Engine, but I never look there or even think of looking there. What I do have is some very wonderful friends and family who check my Hive Engine page once in a while and tell me that they think it would be a good idea if I do "This"

While at @Brisby's, I watched her make these little rice cakes for her daughter's lunch. I learned how to make them late at night while giggling in Brisby's kitchen and keeping the rest of the house from sleeping.
