Good afternoon, burners! I had a thought. The SlothBuzz community have relaunched SaturdaySavers as #SlothlySavers since it was unfortunately ended at the end of last year. It got us thinking: could we set a burn goal for the year?
Of course, we also want to grow. So maybe we have a Hive Power goal, and a burn goal?
Seems like a win for us!
So, we currently have 311 HP. Our goal has always been to burn tokens, but we also need to grow!
Sloth and steady wins the race, right?
Let's set our main target as 500 HP by the end of the year. This gives us enough space to keep burning whilst growing on the side!
As for our Burn goal?
Let's try burn 100 SlothBuzz tokens? That should be achievable, even though they only mint 6.9 per day. If we make enough buzz, we're sure to grab some tokens that we can burn! And as always, we'll be trying to snap up any on the market from silly slothbuzz dumpers!
Well, that settles it. Our goals for 2026 #SlothlySavers Club are:

Burn 100 SlothBuzz tokens (100 to burn!)

First burn done, 1 SlothBuzz token sent to Null! 99 to go! That would mean almost 15 days out of this year, Slothbuzz won't be minting any tokens! insane to think about it in that way! Of course, the 6.9 daily mint will still happen to reward content creators using #Slothbuzz and the curators who stake the slothbuzz token! But, if we can manage to acquire 100, they'll be burnt! And, it's not really an 'IF' we acquire them, simply a when! Either by creating content or buying them from the market, we will burn slothbuzz!
