Feliz Navidad is one of the simplest songs ever written, the same lyrics are repeated through out the song then to the chorus wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from the bottom of his heart. Jose Feliciano wrote this song because he was feeling home sick at Christmas, missing his family and friends when he was living in New York city. He reminisced on carolling with his brothers, while eating his native meal and drinking rum. He felt lonely at the time, celebrating Christmas without his family, he missed the whole groove that he normally had with his people. Feliz Navidad is a festive and joyful song basically wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year, half the lyrics are sung in Spanish but it's really easy to understand and sing even if you don't speak the language. No matter our circumstances, God is always there to make a way out for us, He alone has the solution to all our problems, He's a miracle worker...He does the seemingly impossible and changes situations that no man can. I'm sure we all have had a situation when we thought it was all over but then God in His infinite mercy showed up and turned things around for our good 😊 . As the year rounds off, I know we all have different needs and expectations but don't have a clue on how to get it, trust me you're not alone...The only solution is the way maker, the miracle worker "Jesus Christ". Keep trusting and believing in Him, He's got our best interest at heart and would never give up on us. He's not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent (Numbers 23:19). He's the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6) ....So let's abide in Him and He in us, trust Him. He can still make our expectations for the year come through, He's never late. How are you my friend is a motivating song with a lot of reassurance and goodwill to the ones we call friends. Even though we don't speak so often, I got you...call me whenever you need me, I'd be there. I'd always wish you well even though we don't get to see or I don't call, I've got your best interest at heart. If I had the world, I'd keep your share for you cause I can't see you suffer or be in lack. Everything is going to be alright....I see your struggles, I pray God helps you and blesses you through it all. You're my guy and I'd always protect you if need be, I can't see you in danger and ignore you. That's what friends are for, always being there for our person not only in the good times but also in the bad times.

I have chosen this song because it really goes in line with the theme for this week (Together). No man is an island, we all need each other to see life through. Everyone is important and so should be treated as such. We need to choose our friends wisely and also be good friends to people. Be honest, kind and compassionate because it's the right thing to do and also no one knows tomorrow. Life isn't easy but it can be when we have the right people around us to support and help us. We all need each other, I'm sure we've all heard the saying "two heads are better than one". Even the Holy Bible says " One shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousand (Deuteronomy 32:30). This bible verse simply implies there is strength in numbers as long as there's unity of purpose, we are stronger together 💪.

Memories can be beautiful, bitter, sweet e.t.c things we can't forget easily are what form part of our memory. We all want to have amazing and beautiful memories but life happens sometimes and we can't hold on to the hurt, pain we might have felt...it's in the past, we shouldn't hold on to it, we can always feel it cause it happened. Live in the moment, enjoy the memories, reminisce on what was, appreciate the good and bad times and move on. I know this year has been a rollercoaster kinda year but in all things we should be grateful to God for seeing the last month of the year 🙏. From January and now December, God has been faithful, if not for anything we should thank Him for preserving our lives to this point and it's my sincere prayer that we all shall see beyond this year in good health.
