So here I am living 2 blocks away from Lakes Park here in Fort Myers.
Besides the multiple pokestops and gyms, there are really nice photos to take.
The park is located at 7330 Gladiolus Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33908
It is about 279 acres.
I fish for bass, snook, and tilapia at a secret fishing spot there.
There are a large variety of birds and small animals that can be found in the park, besides alligators, turtles, ducks, etc.

There is a butterfly garden, a kids garden, and a garden that grows food.

There are picnic areas
splash pads
a railroad that takes you around the park
railroad museum
a nice playground
food stands
boat rentals
bike rentals(3 different types)
outdoor fitness equipment
sand volleyball
trails
Fragrance Garden
Memory Lane
October to April is the Farmer's Market

I am absolutely taken with this park, that I have been visiting since 1993. Not many people know about it when they come to Fort Myers. It provides an excellent day for families too.
The only fee is parking for 1$ an hour or $5 for the day.
If you are visiting Fort Myers, don't forget to include a day at this park!
I will be volunteering there shortly.
Maybe I will see you there!
